Is an Online degree from Kaplan online university accredited and recognized by employers as a real degree?

Looking to go back to school for medical billing and coding but need to work also, how legit are the online schools and are the degree’s given accepted by employee’s or do they take the online degree as a joke?

Why doesn’t New jersey have a lot of good accredited colleges and university to pick from?

I want to go to school for BA. in accounting, but new jersey doesn’t have many choices. It doesn’t even have to be the best school, just good enough to get me a well paying job. Reason for me wanting to go to school instate is the tuition. At least it will be lower since i live here. Any advice?

What elements of a brick and mortar education are missing from a completely online education?

K-12 students, in several states, can enroll into online schools where they can recieve a complete education. I think there are specific elements missing from a virtual learning environment, especially social elements. I am wondering if anyone, especially anyone with children who have experienced both brick and mortar school and online school, can specify the differences between the two.
